Review: My Father's World- Creation to the Greeks

Over the years, we have used My Father’s World as our core curriculum and have loved it very much. Last March, we completed Exploring Countries and Cultures and began Creation to the Greeks. I was a bit apprehensive at first, since two of my children were still so young, but it ended up going well over all.

Creation to the Greeks begins with the Biblical account of creation and continues with the history found in the Bible, alongside other world events and cultures. The curriculum also includes the celebration of certain Biblical feasts in order to help children (and families) better understand their significance.

The curriculum includes multiple textbook spines that lay the framework for learning, along with hands-on crafts and activities, note booking pages, and other learning tools, such as a timeline and living books.

Watch the video below for a sneak peek at the curriculum, along with student samples and personal reflections.

The additional books and resources below are the ones we found to be most helpful in our learning.
